“Want to go in Vee?!”

My favorite five words that Mom says are “Want to go in Vee?!”  and then she’ll jingle the keys!  I get SOOO excited and I don’t even pay attention to anything she says until she opens my car door!

I LOVE to drive with mom in her VW and lately we’ve been taking daily trips to see the house being built ~ tonight she’s taking me to Grams for dinner and to taunt her kitties!

A new Tee for Me!

Mom got me the COOLEST stuffies this weekend!  She ordered me a hoodie personalized with “Penny Lane” and this pink tee shirt too!  Even though I look really annoyed I promise I love my tees!

I rocked it all weekend, it’s in the wash now!

My New Tee!

Dad’s away on business again this week so mom and I can be silly!  She picked me up this cool organic tee from Pets Plus.  I was stylin all night and even slept in it! 

All of mom’s friends say that pups shouldn’t wear clothes .. I think I look cute and I hope she gets me more of these tees!

Summer Ridin’

Mom took me to see the new last night!  On the way back she cranked up the ‘tunes and put the windows down!  I had such a FUN time with my tounge hangin’ out and groovin to the musik!

Dad comes home tonight from his work trip, we’ll have to get back to good behavior 😉

Frosty Paw Penny!

Thanks to Preston for his yummy frosty paw recipe!  I LOVE when mom gives me these and I hope that she will make some more soon.  I wish my underbite wasn’t so prominent, it gets stuff stuck on it

Also!  Mom bought me the coolest collar — it’s PINK camo!  I’m surely stylin now and she even put my rabies tag on me.  Dad says it looks goofy, it’s a little big but I love it!

I’ve been enjoying the summer weather, going for lots of walks and helping mom and dad manage my new house (they’re building a new home) .. we’ve been so busy!  I also love to go for rides in mom’s Jetta, when she jingles the keys I know we’re going byes!

Penny Pool Puggle ..

I had such a fun time this past weekend!

Dad took me for a playdate at Daisy and Prudence’s house on Sunday for like 4 hours, it was so fun to play with Puggle Daisy!  Prudence was a little bossy though, she hip checked me right into the pool within a few minutes of being there ~ I dunked and came up and swam to Dad!  I was sure tired when I got home though, I slept for hours!

In the middle of the night I wasn’t feeling too well … had a few accidents in the house (mom was annoyed) and in the morning I was really not too hungry so I didn’t eat.  Dad kept saying that he ‘overran’ me .. whatever that means.  I actually just swallowed too much water  

On Tuesday I was really not feeling so hot .. Mom finally took me to see the Doctor (again) and then she said how I am a costly little puggle … and the vet called me a silly pup for trying to swim — she told me that Puggles aren’t built for swimming … I think she’s nuts though!

The doctor gave me some tuna treats to knock the pool water sickness out of me (Colitis) .. I’m feeling way better now and have my appetite back.  

I actually think that Boots and Marty still have it out for me and spiked my water.  

Let’s SWIFFER!

I had such an exciting night last night!  First, Dad got home from Glenn & Bev’s house and brought a toy from Miss. Daisy for me!  I love my giraffe and I drug her around for hours ~ how did she know that pink is my absolute favorite color?!

And THEN he got out the SWIFFER!  I LOVE the swiffer, it cleans up all of my pup prints and it doesn’t bark or hiss at me :o)

It’s Me ~ Penny Lane!

 

Welcome to my site!

Mom thought this would be a neat way for all of my buddies to keep up on my daily news and puppy antics! 

For those of you who are new to my world, let me tell you a bit about me!  My name is Penny Lane, I am a female Puggle (Pug and Beagle mix .. in that order, mom and dad think!) born on 30-January (I’m almost 4 months!).  My ‘rents found me at the evil pet store, Pets Plus in Quakertown, and purchased me immediately, on 22-April!  I was SOOOOOO happy to go home, but little did they know how sick I was 😦  Turns out I had contracted Parvovirus from the pet shop .. three days later I was admitted to CARES where they took excellent care of me!  I came home on the 29th of April and have been super healthy ever since!

I’ve also got two brothers ~ Boots and Marty:

I’m not sure what their issue is, they don’t seem to like me much .. in fact they hiss quite a bit!  I don’t know what I did to them, I just want to play but they just hate me 😦  

Mom hired me a pup sitter, her name is Miss Jane!  She comes to visit me mid-morning and walks me, feeds me and lets me play for about 30 minutes!  What a nice break it is from the darn crate that my ‘rents trap me in!
